Frequency Vocal Jazz is the vocal jazz ensemble at MiraCosta College directed by Matt Falker
Join us for a night of Acapella Harmonies supported by the talented musicians of Frequency and an Improvised Acapella performance based on Rhiannon’s Vocal River and Circlesinging techniques.
The Downbeat Award-winning Frequency Vocal Jazz Ensemble features student vocalists and instrumentalists from the campus of MiraCosta College in Oceanside, CA. Founded by director Matt Falker in 2006, Frequency hosts the Oceanside Jazz Festival each April and have performed with guest artists including the New York Voices, Take 6, Highline, Groove For Thought, Gretchen Parlato, and Sara Gazarek.
